AboutFane will readily admit to being born in the Twelveswood, and smiles when speaking of the woods themselves. That is where the fondness in his eyes dies, however, though it’s rare to hear a harsh word against Gridania among unfamiliar company.He is vague about much of his history aside from this, mentioning spending time in La Noscea and the near east, traveling by ship though he doesn’t seem especially fond of it.These days Fane calls chilly Coerthas home. Hooks* Born a Keeper in the Shroud, Fane was taken into Gridania while youg when his tribe's camp was raided and raised until adulthood in the city-state. There he studied herbalism, and could have met any number of people from Gridania or traveling through.* Fane spent several years as an owned worker on a pleasure barge, which traveled the waters between Eorzea and Kugane. There were times they took their business ashore, in various coastal cities.* More recently Fane has been active in Ul'dah and now Ishgard, plying his trade as a courtesan, veil dancer, or masseur, depending on the fancy. In less well known circles he has connections with the criminal element that prowls the streets, though his own personal involvement is vague aside from his ability to come up with a healing poultice or a poison on request.
