Hooks* Born a Keeper in the Shroud, Fane was taken into Gridania while young when the poachers camp he was raised in was raided, there he was raised until adulthood in the city-state. He apprenticed in herbalism, and could have met any number of people from Gridania or traveling through.* Fane spent several years as an owned prostitute on a pleasure barge, which traveled the unclaimed waters between Eorzea and Kugane. There were times they took their business ashore, in various coastal cities.* More recently Fane has been active in Ul'dah and now Ishgard, plying his trade as a courtesan, veil dancer, or masseur, depending on the fancy. While Fane is on the exterior fun and flirty he is also a deeper character than first impressions and his story can be quite dark due to some of the things he's been through and some of the traumas he carries around.Fane's story involves themes of prostitution, slavery, abuse, and other topics some people aren't comfortable with.
